Oded Fehr won't be returning for The Mummy 3

db_031_OdedFehr.jpgI don't think anybody really knows WTF is going on with The Mummy 3 right now and to be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if it gets scrapped sometime soon. Oded Fehr, who played the secondary character of Ardeth Bay (named after The Mummy of course in the original 30's film) disagrees with me when speaking to IGN... €œI have no doubt that there's going to be a third one,€ however he goes on.... "I spoke to the director of the first two €” Stephen Sommers who wrote and directed them. As far as I know, I'm not involved. My character is not involved in the third one. Though, I'm sure it'll be great. If they did ask me to do a third one, I would gladly do it. The movie will forever be very close to my heart, and it's very much a part of me being an actor." Shame. Although I'm hardly crying over this, I did like his character from the first two movies and you just know they will add new secondary characters that won't be half as interesting as Bay.
