Oscar winner joins the cast of Sex and the City

Though if she were half the actress her statue in her cabinet would indicate, then she wouldn't be signing up for roles like this.

Jennifer Hudson, who in truth was "ok" in Dreamgirls for a first time performance but honestly, does she really deserve that Oscar she has in her cabinet? Was she really better than Cate Blanchett in Notes on a Scandal? Not on your life was she. If she were that good an actress, she won't be signing up for bit part roles in movies like Sex and the City. Variety report that Hudson has joined the cast as an assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw, with the movie set four years after the original series ended it's run in 2004. Apart from the main four girls, the only other cast memberswe know of is Chris Noth as Mr. Big. Well of course 50% of the world's population (the male half) will have absolutely no interest in this movie, which is exactly the side I fall on. I know my girlfriend says she was always disappointed with the way the last series ended, so a movie finale might right a few wrongs but with a four year gap since the last episode... are people really craving to see this return?
