Predicting How 2017’s Biggest Movies Will End

RIP Xavier.

Logan Hugh Jackman
Fox

No matter how great a movie is, if the ending doesn't land, audiences can be left feeling dejected and disappointed. For everyone that loved the fan service ending of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, for instance, there were just as many irate at the lack of Luke Skywalker and disgusted at that horrible final helicopter shot.

A great ending can bolster a great movie, while a truly terrible conclusion can seal a film's fate no matter how good or bad the rest of the movie is.

Now, not all of these 15 movies are going to be great or perhaps even good, but they're all being talked about extensively right now, and it's safe to say the fanboys all have their own clued-up ideas of how each one will conclude.

Whether time proves us preternaturally insightful or hilariously off-the-mark, here are our predictions for how 2017's biggest movies will end...

15. Thor & Hulk Meet The Guardians Of The Galaxy - Thor: Ragnarok

Logan Hugh Jackman
Marvel Studios

Considering that much of the Hulk-Thor buddy movie will reportedly be set off-Earth, is it much of a stretch to believe that they could close out the movie in space?

Given that Ragnarok hits screens almost exactly six months before Avengers: Infinity War, a post-credits meeting between Hulk, Thor and The Guardians could provide the perfect lead-in to Infinity War, and cut down on the introductions required to get that movie rolling.

The mere thought of The Hulk hanging around with Rocket Raccoon and Groot is hilarious enough, so it could be something really special if the script hits its stride.

This is basically too perfect not to happen. We all hope.
