Predicting Marvel's Next 20 Movies Up Until 2022

The guessing game of upcoming MCU plots, cross-overs and re-casts...

Marvel Studios are on a total roll as far as their Marvel Cinematic Universe is concerned. Kicking off in May 2008 with the unexpected smash hit that was Iron Man, the MCU has been on a hot streak ever since, with 10 movies currently released, and another 11 films touted for release before the end of 2019. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has since stated that there is a loose slate of movies planned all the way up to 2028, yet with so much uncertainty, it's time to play the guessing game as to what Marvel might be cooking up to the beginning of MCU Phase Five, which will likely be in 2022. Combining predictions for movies everyone already knows about and prospective new properties (as well as standalone films everyone's already expecting), these 20 movies are sure to expand Marvel's brand immeasurably over the next 7 years, and with so many high-profile, hugely-anticipated movies on the way, it seems unlikely that the comic book movie bubble will be bursting anytime soon. Also note that standalone movies for The Hulk and Hawkeye have been intentionally left off this list because Marvel have cast doubt on a Hulk movie and as for Hawkeye, well, a film based on everyone's least-favourite Avenger sounds like a really lame idea.
