Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores For Every Upcoming Superhero Movie

The DCEU gets back on track...sorta.

Warner Bros.

It's one Hell of a time to be a comic book fan, what with Marvel Studios, Warner Bros and Fox all ramping up production on as many superhero films as they can cram into their distinctive cinematic universes.

The next five years is going to see an unprecedented number of superhero movies hitting screens, though of course, not every one of them can be an X-Men 2, The Dark Knight or The Avengers.

Studios, even Marvel, are going to have their missteps, and it's safe to say that for every towering superhero flick that hits its markers, there are going to be those head-smacking disappointments that leave a fanbase feeling totally dejected.

These 20 comic book films are either deep in production or at least gearing up for release over the next few years, and in case you're wondering, Shazam! hasn't been included because there's zero chance it actually makes its scheduled April 2019 release.

These superhero extravaganzas will have their fates forever sealed by the all-encompassing Rotten Tomatoes score that fans and studios alike put so much stock in these days...

20. Thor: Ragnarok (95%)

Thor Ragnarok Work
Marvel Studios

Release Date: November 3

Predicted Critical Consensus: "Enlivened by Taika Waititi's bold direction and an array of off-kilter humour, Thor: Ragnarok is a super-powered buddy movie that really works."

There are plenty of reasons to be excited for Thor's third outing, namely What We Do in the Shadows director Taika Waititi, a stellar supporting cast including Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson and Jeff Goldblum, and the simple fact it's a space-faring buddy film starring Thor and The Hulk.

If the utterly forgettable Thor: The Dark World can score an easy 66% on the Tomatometer, it should be an absolute cakewalk for Ragnarok to crack 90+.
