Quicker draw, but still misses it's target

Jonah Hex, a $80-100 million summer westerner actioner that essentially became the vision of Josh Brolin (his star power fired original duo Neveldine & Taylor so we could see-over extensive re-writes, hire Jimmy Hayward to direct and make the casting choices he wanted) opens in less than three weeks time. Can you remember such a big Hollywood movie in recent memory that has carried less buzz than this one, so close to it's release? After the major disinterest that spilled onto the web after the late unleashing of the first Hex trailer some weeks ago, Warner Bros. have gone back to the drawing board and cut together a slightly slicker but no less dull reel, which clocks in less running time and basically speeds up most of the footage we've seen already. In simple terms; it still stinks to the high heavens. The only thing Brolin did right it seems was the casting choices (Lance Reddick totally should own this genre, the way Woody Strode once did). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5biUQNS3tk Hex opens June 18th in the U.S, the same weekend as Toy Story 3 - so good luck in seeing a return on that $80 million.
