Ranking Every Stan Lee Marvel Movie Cameo From Worst To Best

19. Hot Dog Vendor - X-Men

The one that started it all. When he agreed to pop-up in the big screen version X-Men Lee could have had no idea it would give him a whole new (if specific) career path that brought his face to a much wider audience. As Senator Kelly emerges from the Ocean after escaping Magneto's lair, stood on the beach gawping at the naked politician is Hot Dog Vendor Stan Lee. In what would prove to be a rather distinct move, the camera never focuses on Lee, keeping him at the back and corner of the shot, meaning that even the eagle eyed could miss it.

18. Graduation Guest - The Amazing Spider-Man 2

After swinging through New York, calling his girlfriend while clinging to the front of a police car and apprehending Paul Giamatti's sterotypical Russian in an opening much better than the rest of the film, Peter Parker just makes it to his graduation on time. Although not before being noticed suited up by a member of the audience; Stan Lee exclaiming "I think I know that guy!". It elicits a chuckle, but feels like it was done more out of obligation than some of the others. There is a more pronounced cameo in the game based on the movie, with Lee not only being saved by Spider-Man, but giving Peter Parker some sound advice regarding Uncle Ben. It's hokey, but just about works.
