Breaking In Gabrielle Union
Universal

RottenTomatoes Score: 25% (4.2/10)

Box Office: Produced for just $6 million, the Gabrielle Union-starring home invasion thriller has pulled in more than $35 million to date, making it an impressive minor hit. Plus, it's exactly the sort of movie that'll perform well with unfussed audiences on VOD.

Verdict: Gabrielle Union is the sole reason to watch this mostly braindead genre film from V for Vendetta director James McTeigue. Though snappily paced and visually decent, Union's overly-committed performance is its only memorable aspect.

Otherwise, it's pure generic schlock, and doesn't even serve up the grisly violence that might make it a gonzo guilty pleasure.
