Ranking November 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

18. Daddy's Home 2

RottenTomatoes Score: 16% (3.8/10 average score)

Box Office: Against a ludicrously bloated $69 million budget, the festive sequel opened above expectations, but has grossed just over $90 million to date. Simply it's getting nowhere near the original's colossal $242.8 million final cume. No Daddy's Home 3, then.

Verdict: Though Mel Gibson's gonzo performance makes this watchable enough, for the most part Daddy's Home 2 is a low-effort sequel that goes for the easy laugh every time, and fails to exploit the satirical potential of its premise.

It might be fine comfort food to watch on Netflix this time next year, but paying a full ticket price to see it in cinemas now? Nah.
