Ranking September 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

Did Pennywise come out on top?

It 2017 Pennywise
Warner Bros.

With summer blockbuster season well and truly out of the way, September has been one of the more interesting and diverse months on the cinematic calendar in quite some time.

From Netflix stepping up their game with a number of acclaimed new projects to Warner Bros. releasing an instant classic horror film, and one of the most celebrated filmmaking auteurs making waves with his controversial new effort, there really has been something for everyone this month.

Granted, not everything met expectations: there was one massively disappointing sequel released, but in terms of legitimately bad cinema, there thankfully wasn't too much to suffer through.

As for what October will bring? There's a firm mix of art and trash, with the likes of Blade Runner 2049, The Mountain Between Us, The Snowman, Geostorm, Happy Death Day, Thor: Ragnarok, Jigsaw, and Call Me By Your Name gearing up for release...
