Recasting Every Major Role In The DCEU

It's time for some changes.

It's fair to say that the DC Extended Universe hasn't ever been the most stable of movie franchises, though things have certainly reached an absolute fever pitch of unpredictability as of late.

For starters, the series has found unexpected commercial and critical success with Aquaman and Shazam! respectively, while barely a week passes without a new rumour emerging about who may or may not still be part of the franchise.

Just this past week, reports flooded the web that Ezra Miller was likely done playing The Flash, and that comes hot off confirmation that Idris Elba will be replacing Will Smith as Deadshot in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.

It's plainly clear that the DCEU is in a major period of flux, and while it's near enough set in stone that Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Shazam (Zachary Levi), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and, yes, Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) aren't going anywhere, things are looking decidedly less certain elsewhere.

With Warner Bros. basically pressing the soft-reset button on their sloppy experiment of a shared universe, it goes without saying that some of the iffier and less-secure front-line Justice League members will be getting re-cast in the coming months, alongside a few supporting mainstays.

Everyone's got their ideal casting choices, of course, but between a few obvious picks and a couple of adventurous wild cards, here's who we'd love to see filling out the DCEU's overhauled new roster...
