Robert Redford Bringing Sundance Film Festival To London

Robert Redford announced today at a press conference in London that his successful Sundance Festival is coming to the United Kingdom in 2012 in a mini 4 day festival chunk. Billed as 'Sundance London', Redford told reporters:
€œIt is our mutual goal to bring to the UK the very best in current American independent cinema, to introduce the artists responsible for it, and in essence help build a picture of our country that is broadly reflective of the diversity of voices not always seen in our cultural exports,€
Sundance London is set to take place from April 26th to the 29th at London's 02 arena next year, and will contain a selection of Independent films that will also be shown at Utah's leg of the festival that takes place each January. Musical performances, discussion panels and classes are also going to be a part of the program. (article written by OWF trialist Sean Burton)
