Romero on board "Solitary Island"

George A- Romero.jpgGeorge A. Romero has signed on to direct a short story written by Koji Suzuki, the japenese author of "The Ring" and "Dark Water". The movie is described as a "horror/thriller" and will be produced on a very small budget of under $25 million. Here is the plot taken from The Hollywood Reporter.. "The story chronicles an expedition to a deserted island that turns deadly as the explorers face an unknown force". So something a little different from Romero on the horizon, as he tries to move away from the zombie genre that made his name. I thought that "Land of the Dead" was one zombie movie too much for Romero, one of the big problems for me was that it felt over produced because of the bigger budget than what Romero is use to.So guys, which of Romero's zombie movies do you think is the best? Night of the Living Dead (1968) Dawn of the Dead (1978) Day of the Dead (1985) Land of the Dead (2005) source - The Hollywood Reporter
