Steve Irwin's life. According to
In Touch Weekly, Universal Pictures are in talks with fellow australian
Russell Crowe to star as The Crocodile Hunter himself. Apparentaly the two were good friends, with an "insider" quoted as saying...
"It's not about money for Russell - it's about honouring his friend. Steve once told Russell that he wanted him to play him in a movie version of his life". I can't see Crowe as Irwin for a second. The guy was off his head wacky and full of energy which is not the type of role that Crowe usually goes for. I'm not saying that Crowe couldn't do it, I mean the guy is so talented he could portray any character well but I just don't think he would be right for it. And as far as a movie on Irwin's life goes, would it really be that interesting? source -
