Russell Crowe unaware of those Trek rumors

I think it was always going to be a long shot that Russell Crowe was going to end up being in the new Star Trek movie. I mean here's a guy who chooses each and every one of his projects very carefully indeed and he has never in the past done a film anything like this. Not only that but logistically it would seem unlikely. Crowe has a full schedule, not least the amount of movies he will be re-teaming with Ridley Scott on, so folks I'm sorry to say he won't be in Star Trek.
