Sandy Wexler Review: 4 Ups & 6 Downs

It could've been worse.

Sandy Wexler is Adam Sandler's third collaboration with Netflix to date under his original four-picture deal, but with the recent announcement that Sandler will be making a further four movies for the streaming giant in a new deal, it's safe to say he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

In fairness, Sandler's third effort is far from the worst thing he's ever put out, and while a far, far cry from his most beloved efforts in the late 90s, isn't quite the disaster you might expect after sitting through some of his more recent efforts.

If nothing else Wexler is further baffling proof of the bizarre path Sandler's career is taking, but he might also end up regarded as a trail-blazer given Netflix's fast-growing reach in the movie market. If it's good enough for Martin Scorsese, why not Sandler?
