Saw 3 is going to suck

230px-Saw_poster.jpgSo it seems that the latest movie to join the list of "no advanced screenings for the press" is Saw III. A hideous mistake by the studio as it only shows to people that they must be so ashamed of their movie they fear the bad press. I don't understand why the studio does this because not having reviews in newspapers on the opening day IS bad press. Even the over hyped Snakes on a Plane didn't survive the no advanced screenings. Bottom line is, every movie that has decided to shun the press screenings has been somewhat of a box office disapointment. Even Snakes which was succesful didn't do a quater of the numbers they were hoping for.
