Sex and the City movie begins shooting in the fall

Sex and the City to the big screen, with shooting expected to begin before the end of the year. The four girls all look set to reprise their roles but come on, this is a huge paycheck for them and it's not like their career's outside of the show are ever going to go anywhere so this was never in doubt. Michael Patrick King will be directing from his own script. According to Variety, the problem HBO have had over the last couple of years in putting a Sex and the City movie together is that Kim Cattral thought she was being under-paid and her character under-written in the latter series' of the show. She wanted a salary closer to the one lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker was getting. It seems the holding out has worked as one source for Variety says Cattral is making huge money on this movie, with a much bigger part than before and even a new HBO series for her in the works. Jesus, you were that desperate for a Sex and the City movie? Man I hated that T.V. show so much and the thought of a feature length movie just sends shivers down my spine. Shooting should begin before the end of the year.
