The trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home was just released by Marvel Studios, and watching footage from a movie apparently set-post Avengers: Endgame sure is a surreal experience.

The film's marketing team is faced with a unique challenge, of selling it to fans without giving away what happens in Endgame, even if Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) resurrection won't surprise anyone over the age of about 12.

The first trailer is agreeably enigmatic, refusing to give much at all away about the state of the world following the events of Endgame, focusing instead on conveying its breezy tone, huge roster of characters, globe-trotting appeal and enticing Jake Gyllenhaal villain.

Its vagueness invites a ton of burning questions, then, the most urgent of which we've attempted to answer here. In traditional MCU fashion it's likely that many of these questions will have answers nobody sees coming, and fans wouldn't have it any other way.

With almost six months left to go until Far From Home hits screens, the clock is running for fans to figure out exactly how this story follows Endgame and kicks off the next phase of the franchise...
