So the MCU rumbles on, only this time the Sony logo appears before the Marvel one has a chance. The unprecedented deal between the two studios has led to Spider-Man: Homecoming, a film financed and distributed by Sony Pictures but with Marvel having a heavy creative influence due to the several failings with the character over the last few years.

Introduced in this year's Captain America: Civil War, the new Spider-Man will once again be played by Tom Holland, now back in high school and away from the wider superhero shenanigans. Holland's wall-crawler will be doing battle with Michael Keaton's The Vulture, a winged criminal who will be pulling out all the stops to prevent Peter Parker ever finishing his homework. Will Parker be able to balance high school drama with superhero drama?

The first trailer recently hit the internet, and the response has been extremely solid. Unusually, the trailer doesn't give too much away, but let's look at the more positive things we've learnt (and a few negatives)...
