Spider-Man Homecoming: 5 Scenes We Need (And 5 We Don't)

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a Marvel franchise can.

Andrew Garfield is out, and in a few short weeks, Sony and Marvel will debut a new Spider-Man - played by youngster Tom Holland - alongside his fellow Avengers, in Captain America: Civil War.

Despite having four previous movies to take lessons from (and not replicate in the mistakes department), 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was a colossal failure. It didn't capitalize on the moderate success of The Amazing Spider-Man, a thoroughly enjoyable arachnid-adventure that breathed new life into what was, at the time, a stale character.

Flash-forward to now, and it seems like Spidey is well and truly back. Critical reactions to his appearance in Captain America: Civil War are overwhelmingly positive, and with the recent announcement of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the character seems to have well and truly found his place.

We've had five solo Spidey movies since 2002, and there are enough mistakes, successes and points of interest in those to almost make this next movie a walk in the park. We'll get a small taste of Tom Holland in Civil War, but his own movie is still over a year off - and here's what should - and shouldn't - happen in it.
