Star Wars 7: 6 Reasons That Adam Driver Will Be Jacen Solo

1. The Story That Will Be Told With the picture that has been created with this post, here is my speculation for what fans will see with the upcoming sequel trilogy. This is by no means a factual representation but my own thoughts and beliefs solely based on the possibility that the story is true and Adam Driver has been cast as the Vader-like villain he is rumoured to be. As mentioned earlier, Episode VII will open up 30+ years after the events of Return of the Jedi and fans will be introduced to a galaxy that is once again at peace. We will see our original heroes from the original trilogy and quickly be introduced to their offspring and the characters that will move the franchise forward in both this trilogy and beyond. Keep in mind, we know we're getting Episodes 7-9 but what about Episodes 10 and beyond? There's most likely absolutely no plans for something like that at this point at Disney HQ but it will happen if the sequel trilogy is the success we all assume it will be. With Episode VII, fans will witness the emergence of a new threat whether it be a political, military or Sith which will start Jacen's path down the Dark Side. I still believe that for the sake of the trilogy method, the Sith are better represented as a more secretive group rather than one of mass numbers. We will most likely pick up Episode VIII in the midst of a war and by films end see the death of a major character and the full fall of Jacen Solo to the Dark Side. It would not surprise me if Jacen's turn is a result of his killing a relative or family member thus ushering in a new era of Sith control of the galaxy. Episode IX will be the ultimate climax in which fans will witness the sibling battle between Jaina and Jacen Solo where the very balance of the galaxy is at stake. It has to also be assumed that the minor subplot that could occur in Episode VII will have evolved into a full fledged war by the time act three roles around. If the story group has been created to bring the Star Wars films and EU together, then there is no doubt in my mind that Adam Driver will be playing Jacen Solo in the new trilogy. He will be the next individual that we see battle the temptations of the Dark Side in the Skywalker lineage. Right now, all that we can do is simply wait and see. And speculate.
