Star Wars Episode 7: 7 Reasons Why The Yuuzhan Vong Should Appear

6. The Production Design Would Be Incredible

As mentioned, the Yuuzhan Vong abhor all technology with violent fanaticism and instead rely on organisms grown and engineered for specific tasks, as well as growing starfighters and other structures out of Yorik Coral. And because nothing created by the Vong is mass produced, that means every single item of Vong biotechnology is unique. Their weapons. Their armour. Their starships. The lot. Which means that the production design for props and costumes would logically have to follow suit. If the Vong did appear, there couldn't be any cheats. Cloning a CGI ship on a computer a dozen times just wouldn't cut the ice and nor would casting all of the Vong armour from a single mould. It would probably give a large number of the props and special effects artists nervous breakdowns but God it would look good. And if Peter Jackson's crew could do it with the Orcs' armour in Lord Of The Rings, Lucasfilm can do it with Yuuzhan Vong equipment. Plus the Vong are creepy as all hell and would look great realised onscreen.
