While most of the focus as far as huge cinema franchises go is on Avengers: Endgame, there is another major Disney-owned movie on the horizon that we'll be learning a lot more about in April.

Star Wars Episode IX doesn't even have a title yet, but that's expected to change at Star Wars Celebration in a couple of weeks time, when it's almost certain that J.J. Abrams will be revealing a trailer - and with it, a title - for his Sequel Trilogy closer.

For the longest while though, and continuing until that happens, the collective hive mind of the internet has had to make do with other sources of information regarding Episode IX. This being Star Wars, of course, there's been no shortage of theories, rumours, and supposed leaks regarding what's going to happen with Rey, Kylo et al in the movie that's going to end the Skywalker Saga.

Let's kick things off with a relatively minor but also rather weird one, which is the idea that C-3PO is going to have a scene in the movie where he dons Chewbacca's bandolier and uses his iconic bowcaster.

This was first reported by Making Star Wars, and was then backed up by the (seemingly real) poster that recently leaked. C-3PO hasn't had an awful lot to do in the Sequel Trilogy so far, so giving him a moment like this would at least be memorable, even if it does sound silly on paper. It would likely be reminiscent of Attack of the Clones, and while that's not a great movie to mimic, it is fun to play into the sillier aspects of Threepio given is serious nature about it all.
