Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 7 Predictions For The Trailer

Fingers crossed...

Today is a red letter day - the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer will be released. Set to be screened in cinemas across America and, as revealed in a relieving tweet from the official Star Wars page, made available immediately online through Apple trailers, it's got Star Wars fans the world over waiting with bated breath. Up until now, all audiences have officially glimpsed of the film are two images. Oh sure, there's been all those concept art leaks, but in terms of official word, fans have had to make do with a black and white cast photo and an episode-less title card. So naturally there's a painful amount of hype building. It's reminiscent of sixteen years ago, when the world got its first look at The Phantom Menace, albeit with fasting streaming speeds and (slightly) more reasonable expectation - we all know how bad things can go. Still, the anticipation has been reaching fever pitch, with fake trailers (ranging from genuinely hard-worked efforts to simple Rick Rolls) peppering the internet and, highlighting some people's gullibility, social media feeds. In a week that also includes Thanksgiving and Black Friday, The Force Awakens is by far the most exciting thing happening. Jurassic World even released its trailer a few days earlier to avoid getting washed away in the hype. When exactly the trailer will come online today is uncertain, so to try and pass the time until then, here's a prediction of what exactly it could include.
