Star Wars: Han Solo Spin-Off - 8 Things That Will Definitely Happen

7. Chewie's Life Debt

There€™s a reason the second teaser for The Force Awakens chose to end on a shot of Han and Chewbacca, with the words €œChewie, we€™re home.€ It€™s not because it was a huge deal that they were in the film, as that had long been revealed, but because seeing them at the end truly did make it feel like the Star Wars franchise was back.

The two were already partners when we met them in the Mos Eisley cantina, and it is clear that they are extremely loyal to each other, but not much was given as to how they formed such a strong bond. This film, then, will surely show just how Han became friends with the Wookiee.

This would presumably involve Han rescuing Chewie from a life of slavery on Kessel, or even potential death, and the Wookiee owing a life debt to him, refusing to leave his side, and the gradual forming of a friendship between the two.
