Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi's 5 Worst Decisions

4. Not Immediately Helping Padmé

MustafarDuel Obi-Wan€™s mission on Mustafar was to kill Anakin but I can€™t help but think that saving three lives, one of whom is a friend you€™ve known for thirteen years and the other two are unborn children, takes precedence to carrying out a justified homicide. Apart from stroking her face, Obi Wan€™s reaction to Padmé being unconscious is to shout down Anakin and engage in a seizure-inducing fight sequence. Whereas his immediate thought process should have been €œI€™d better get this heavily pregnant and possibly dying woman as far away from this lava-strewn hellhole and her evil psychotic husband as fast as possible€. In the time he would have saved not fighting Anakin, he could have got Padmé to a team of qualified doctors on a civilised planet instead of the first aid team of a mining colony who probably don€™t know very much about human physiology. Or C-3PO could have flown the ship while Obi-Wan stayed in the back and used the Force to try and stabilise Padm這s condition. Because when he does finally decide to get her to a doctor, he just stays in the cockpit and does nothing while C-3PO pilots the ship. That€™s right. C-3PO is being more productive than Obi-Wan. Seriously, Kenobi. Not your finest hour.
