11. Rey Knows Who She Is
The first voice over - which is definitely Maz Kanata herself (the little alien everyone seems to have lost their sh*t over on the new poster) - suggests that has Rey challenged over who she is. She might answer "no-one", but the manner of her answer suggests otherwise: that she knows she's a person of interest and is attempting to hide her past. There's definitely a suggestion that she's a lonely orphan figure lost on Jakku, harking ever so blatantly back to Luke at the start of A New Hope, but she seems to have more purpose. She's not just looking for scrap, she's scavenging the downed Star Destroyer's engines specifically, suggesting she has a technological goal of some sort. So is she in exile by her own hand? If she is indeed a Solo child (come on, it's nailed on) has she run away from her family because she knows of her Force ability and that she's putting her family in danger by existing? Is that where the rumours that Kylo Ren is targetting her come from? The way the whole trailer is set up suggests that her arc will see her gaining Force powers at the end of the film, which would fit entirely with that theory.
