Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 8 Set Leaks Which Left J.J. Abrams Fuming

1. The Fate Of Luke Skywalker

There's no way of knowing just how much the script for Star Wars: The Force Awakens changed following Michael Arndt's departure, and while it appeared as if the entire plot leaked at one point (much of what was described in that was later confirmed by the trailers and toys), there's been one persistent rumour which won't go away. If it's true, everything Abrams strived to keep secret has been totally ruined! While that concept art of a cloaked figure who looks more machine than man may have been an early design for Kylo Ren, some sites claim that it's Luke Skywalker. You see, despite the fact that the movie is set to revolve around the hunt for the Jedi Knight in order to get his help in presumably vanquishing the rise of a new Sith Order, the big reveal at the end of the movie is going to be that Luke has turned to the Dark Side. There are a lot of conflicting reports about how this is going to play out, and even if he no longer has a monstrous appearance (that leaked image of Hamill certainly looked normal enough), the common theme in these reports is that Rey doesn't find Luke until right at the very end of the movie. Just to make matters even more confusing, one recent report claimed that the Luke she finds is still a Jedi, but you have to believe that there's a very good chance Abrams and Lucasfilm have decided to really shake things up by revealing that this fan-favourite hero has gone the same way as his father before him. Whatever the case may be, there's more than enough evidence pointing to Luke not showing up until the very end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens to assume that a huge chunk of the movie has now been spoiled.
