Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 7 Spoilers That Have Already Been Revealed

The last Jedi's identity and evil BB-8? This is too much!

We live in a golden age of theatrical Star Wars movies, a period of time that we haven't experienced since the original trilogy bowed over 40 years ago.

On the surface, that's great, but the downside here is that the more Star Wars movies we get, the longer the wait in-between entries starts to feel.

With The Force Awakens and Rogue One knocking it out of the park, hype for The Last Jedi is understandably off the charts, and with Episode VII producing a whole host of questions and leaving many plot threads dangling, the wait for this year's Episode VIII has been absolutely excruciating.

However, the wait hasn't been without its rewards.

We've seen an ominous first trailer, a variety of stills and behind-the-scenes images, interviews with actors, information on merchandise, insider leaks and so much more, with some of these providing a few solid clues as to how the film will play out.

Some of these clues could even be deemed as spoilers - depending on how you view the term - as they help us flesh out the plot, or they reveal something beyond the basic pieces of information you need to know before you watch.

7. Han's Funeral

The Information: Han Solo's death will see his close friends - and former lover, Leia - gather to honour their fallen comrade, presumably near the start of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Han's funeral has been outed multiple times. Carrie Fisher let slip during a 2016 interview at Star Wars Celebration Europe that Han's funeral was on the cards (after being asked by host Warwick Davies what her character had been up to since The Force Awakens), and more recently, pictures taken on the set in Dubrovnik showed what appeared to be characters "paying their respects".

Why It's A Spoiler: This tells us that Han's presence will still be felt throughout The Last Jedi, a sentiment that was recently echoed by director Rian Johnson.

A funeral scene is also likely to take place early on, before the film's main plot kicks into gear. Knowing that this scene will be popping up at some point, and that most of the main characters will be in attendance, could make any early peril lack tension - we know they're going to make it out safely to arrive at the funeral later on.

Plus, y'know, we now know that the film will feature Han's sendoff, which spoils what would have been a nice surprise.
