1. What Is The Full Extent Of Snoke’s Powers?
The Star Wars sequel trilogy is yet to lay out its stakes in full, since exactly what Snoke can do remains a mystery. From the latest trailers and what little was shown of him in The Force Awakens, it's clear he has a fascination with grey areas in the Force, but what could that mean in the big scheme of things?
If Rey, Kylo and Luke are candidates for the role of bringing balance to the Force, perhaps Snoke is one too. His Dark Side powers have already been hinted at by that trailer scene where he's torturing Rey, and they were elaborated on in the official book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need To Know, which listed telepathy and Force chokes and throws among his other abilities.
That's quite an impressive list, so who knows what other abilities from both ends of the Force spectrum the prune-faced villain is concealing? The true extent of his power is likely connected to another enduring mystery: Snoke's identity.
In a recent interview with EW, Andy Serkis revealed more about the character's origin, explaining that his hatred of the Resistance is "fuelled by what happened to him personally", which suggests his battered appearance is somehow connected to the events of the original trilogy.
With this in mind, the myriad fans theories about Snoke being a returning character from the previous films cannot be ruled out... well, some of them, at least.
