Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Is Kylo Ren Getting A New Look?

Don't pick that, Ben, it'll never heal.

It looks like Kylo Ren's going to look somewhat different in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, according to Making Star Wars.

Though they say that his new helmet will look pretty much identical to the one damaged in The Force Awakens (albeit with a longer back), he will be sporting a new, longer cape that is either modelled after Darth Vader's look or will actually be one of Vader's capes.

That would fit with the rumour that Ren will return to Vader's castle on Mustafa in the sequel and his obsession with the mythology of his grandfather's image. That subtle change will go a long way to making him look for menacing - long capes tend to do that for you.

The more notable change to his appearance probably isn't costume based: he'll be wearing a pretty nasty scar across his face from his climactic encounter with Rey, which will also help cement him as a monster. Cue lots of not at all annoying theories that Snoke (who obviously has his own scar) is actually a future version of him sent back in time to make sure his future works out better...
