Suicide Squad: 14 Obscure Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

12. The Two Angelos

Joker Easter Eggs Obscure
DC Comics

In Deadshot's opening scene, he talks to a mysterious gangster type who instructs him to kill a heavily guarded target. The guy who we only hear the voice of is called Angelo, which is probably a reference to one of two characters in DC comics.

As I was first to reveal, it could be Angelo Mirki, a member of the Falcone crime family who was Falcone's daughter's personal body guard. That would certainly fit the mobster feel.

Alternatively, the manner of the kill could reveal someone else. Deadshot uses a metal plate to precisely calculate a kill angle, bouncing a bullet off it and taking out the target. Could that be a super obscure reference to Angelo Bend AKA Angle Man? That might explain why we also got that ridiculous Pythagoras theorem lesson at the end too...
