Suicide Squad Movie: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

Yeah, the name's pretty literal...

When DC finally decided to just spill the beans with regards to what movies that had coming up, there weren't a whole lot of surprises. Batman v Superman has long been rumoured to be setting up a Justice League film, so the appearance of two of those was fairly obvious; ditto to all the solo films for the cavalcade of characters due to be introduced in that same upcoming blockbuster, from Wonder Woman to Aquaman. They're almost certainly gonna do more solo films for the Man Of Steel and the Dark Knight, too, because they'd be pretty stupid not too. The one big shock - besides the fact they€™re rebooting Green Lantern so soon after that one movie nobody's allowed to speak of - was the presence of a Suicide Squad film, due in the same year as Batman v Superman, from hotshot director David Ayer. If the title sounds a little more intense than your average superhero film then, well, that€™s because it is. Suicide Squad looks set to go off in a very different direction to the rest of the DC Cinematic Universe, and that's pretty ruddy exciting. Especially if some of the casting rumour are true... And if that€™s all you really know about the film, well, then you could probably do with being brought up to speed. Here are ten reasons you should be excited about the Suicide Squad movie.
