Super Bowl 2019: Ranking Every Trailer From Worst To Best

11. Hanna

The spot for Amazon Prime's brand new streaming show, Hanna, did so little to leave an impact that the vast majority of viewers probably wouldn't be able to tell you a thing about the show.

On a night like Super Bowl Sunday, which is absolutely chock-full of various brands, businesses, and film/television projects vying for attention in increasingly over-the-top and ridiculous ways, this Hanna trailer made the biggest mistake possible: it was boring.

It's just a minute-and-a-half of incredibly generic footage of an action series, the kind of thing you could find on pretty much any channel on any given night. It did nothing to differentiate itself from the litany of other action-oriented shows on television or streaming, making it all just look old hat.

Ironically, the ad itself opens with a voice-over telling Hanna the character that her "voice is too soft to be heard". Where a better made ad would have started with this and then evolved into something truly remarkable, showing audiences exactly why they should have been listening in the first place, this as never does and is just dull as a result.
