Just over a month removed from Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios have dropped a new, surprise trailer for what's almost certainly going to be the biggest film of the year. Prepare yourself for emotions.
The latest look at the flick, like the previous trailers, shows precious little from the blockbuster. In fact, footage from key events throughout the series (Iron Man's origin, Steve carrying Peggy's coffin and the immediate aftermath of The Snappening) dominate the early part of this reveal over new material.
However, the final minute does offer some tantalising new footage (all set to the excellent, sombre rendition of The Avengers theme) of the squad gearing up for some kind of hail-Mary plan to combat Thanos (complete with matching new superhero suits), and, in a post-trailer stinger, Thor's first meeting with Captain Marvel. Even coupled with a few brief shots of an action set-piece focusing on Ant-Man (and another harrowing shot of Steve Rogers' battle face, which might come to define this whole Infinity War saga) Marvel have managed to again not give anything away about the movie's story.
The studio has also dropped a gorgeous new poster alongside the trailer, which somehow is even better than the one they cooked up for Infinity War. Next month can't come quick enough.
