Tea Leoni visiting the Ghost Town

tea.jpgTea Leoni has joined the romantic comedy Ghost Town which is set to begin production this October. Writer/director David Koepp is helming the picture, his first since Secret Window in 2004 though you will have seen the product of his writing since then in War of the Worlds and Zathura: A Space Adventure. He has also wrote the script for Indiana Jones IV. Ricky Gervais makes his film debut alongside Little Miss Sunshine actor Greg Kinnear...
The story revolves around a misanthropic dentist (Gervais) who dies for seven minutes during a colonoscopy. Recovering, he can see the dead and is bothered by the ghost of a businessman (Kinnear) who wants the dentist to break up the impending marriage of the ghost's wife, played by Leoni.
Sounds like a fun movie but I still can't get over the fact that Ricky Gervais is leading it. He's a talented guy and he is funny at what he does... but a leading man? Honestly? I can't see it.
