Terminator 5 Starts Filming Early 2014

terminator_2___ill_be_back_1245 "'Terminator 5 starts filming early 2014," announced Arnold Schwarzenegger today at his 21st Century Financial Education Summit in Perth, Australia. When pressed he clarified a January or February production star next year, according to TheArnoldFans.com. Hours earlier, it was revealed by The Wrap that Paramount Pictures were closing in on agreeing a deal to distribute the upcoming fifth entry in the sci-fi saga. Additionally, Arnie revealed that he expects to receive Patrick Lussier (My Bloody Valentine 3D, Drive Angry) and Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island, Avatar)'s final screenplay for Terminator 5 in the next few weeks. The duo have been working on the screenplay for the past six months with the expected intention of Arnie playing a lead role. As we reported before there's no story details yet or any confirmation on who might direct, though on the latter issue it's definitely looking likely that the schedule is in line with Fast And Furious helmer Justin Lin's availability and we half expect him to end up in the director's chair on this one. Not that they would have too much trouble to find a candidate willing to helm should it not work out with Lin. And for those wondering... Arnie also revealed he expects to receive the screenplay for the planned Triplets movie soon.
