The 3rd SCREAM 4 Poster Again Forgets It Has A Cast

Dimension Films have just released the third one-sheet poster for Scream 4 and once again they are dismissing their cast in order to promote the Ghostface killer as the reason we should care about this series ten years later. I understand that Scream 4 has an awful lot of talent fodder with it being based around two acting ensembles, i.e. the originals - Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette - and the new blood, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin - and I suppose a third group with supporting cops Adam Brody and Anthony Anderson - and a likely Drew Barrymore cameo for Anna Paquin - so somebody's gonna be pissed where they can't be squeezed into the one sheet - BUT - if you have managed to attract such marquee names, don't you promote that fact? The image of Ghostface's mask protruding down as a knife is the poster you release six months before release as a teaser, not two months before it plays, OR if you have a cast of nobodies for a reboot, which this doesn't. This is a movie with the major Scream players but on this evidence you wouldn't know it. Scream 4 opens April 15th in both the U.K. and U.S. and I just wish the Weinsteins would buck their ideas up with the promotion because in the 90's Scream was a big deal, and I'm certain the nostalgic fever could strike again if they put a bit more effort into their marketing. Joe "Cinema Going" Popcorn who doesn't read Obsessed With Film or watch trailers online but see's this poster in his lobby needs to know that Sidney Prescott, Dewey & Gale Weathers are returning. Couldn't you have at least included the names of the cast somewhere?
