"It's just about all come together now, so that'll be shot later in the year,".

Now for some news that will have you shouting A-HAAAAAA!!

Armando Iannucci (The Thick of It) has revealed that the long-talked about Alan Partridge movie will finally start shooting later this year.

"It's just about all come together now, so that'll be shot later in the year," "At the moment it's called The Alan Partridge Movie but that's just a working title," he said. " is written we're always rewriting, rewriting and rewriting."

Iannucci also Tweeted;

"Mr Alan P is going cinemasurroundsound".

Alan Partridge, played by Steve Coogan is a Norwich based inept and awkward radio DJ. The last ''I'm Alan Partridge'' TV series was in 2002 but Coogan brought Partridge back in 2010 for fostersfunny.co.uk, in a web series called ''Mid Morning Matters with Alan Partridge.'' The show that is based around Partridge's North Norfolk Digital radio show has been recommissioned for 12 new 11-minute episodes.

Alan Partridge also released his autobiography in 2011 and the self narrated audiobook is high recommended.

The film will be helmed by Father Ted director Declan Lowney, and the script will be written by Iannucci, Steve Coogan and Peter Baynham. It should be released some time in 2013.
