The Amazing Spider-Man 2: 5 Actors That Could Play Harry Osborn

Much like the rest of the world, I grew up with Spider-Man. But there's one thing that stuck out about the character that I feel hasn't been addressed well as far as the feature film franchise goes. Harry Osborn. I was initially upset with the casting of James Franco. He was too pretty, too appropriately rich, too much the antithesis of Peter. But over time Franco grew on me. Considering most of us let the horror that was Spider-Man 3 go in one ear and out the other (don't worry Sam, I don't blame you!) I think it's time to put the focus on Harry Osborn in an appropriate way. He always struck me as a little nerdy as well, a kid of privilege but not also a self righteous lady killer. Franco represents the modern day interpretation of Harry, but I'm still dying to see him as was originally written and even how he was depicted in the well done Fox animated series. Harry Osborn needs that. He's a character that should be rooted in the same morals and ideals of Peter but ultimately, when he snaps, needs to take those morals to the next level, and become possessed by that feeling of self righteousness. That attitude comes with the Goblin. I may be getting a tad ahead of myself on this story here, but it's essential that an actor should be cast who has the appropriate look and attitude now, and also the longevity to see that character into the future of the franchise. An actor who can play the sweet, rich, quirky Daddy's boy that is also capable of growing into some sizable crazy, goblin killer boots to fill. With news this week that Sony were gearing up to cast a new Harry Osborn for The Amazing Spider-Man sequel, here's our top 5 potential Gobby Jrs...
