The Amazing Spider-Man 2: 5 Scenes From The Comics We’d Like To See

5. Electro - It's Electro, Bitch!

Electro Electro is one of the best villains in the entire Spider-Man universe. With the hokey costume, the unbelievable backstory, and the legitimate powers, he's an absolute force to be reckoned with. The fact that it's taken so long for us to see him on the big screen is outstanding. Previously an electrical engineer, while working on a power line, Max Dillon is involved in a freak lightning accident, giving him the ability to control electricity. It may seem like a cliché comic book super-villain storyline, but Electro was the first of his kind, and has the green and yellow spandex to prove it! Based on the fantastic casting of Jamie Foxx for the role, and the pictures we've seen of the actor on set, we can assume this incarnation of Electro is unlike the one we've seen in the "Amazing" comics and most of the animated television shows over the years. This version looks much more like the Ultimate Comics Electro, meaning that he's much more evil and likely in cahoots with Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Besides the desire to see the formation of Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, there have been a few great fight scenes between Electro and Spidey over the years that would fit very well in the film. One in particular, from Ultimate Spider-Man #114, Spider-Man goes looking for Norman Osborn, and while Osborn is nowhere, Spidey runs into a nude Electro. This version of Electro powers up and flies out the window, cursing at the Spider-Man chasing him. A huge fight scene occurs throughout Manhattan, with Electro, Spider-Man and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, until Electro is recaptured and placed in a holding cell with a few other villains who all go on to form the Ultimate Six€ but let's save that part for another movie.
