The Dark Knight Rises: 10 Questions We Still Want Answered

3. Why Did Batman Send Blake's Kids To The Bridge, When The Tunnel Was About to be Opened?

Drama right? Well, it didn't really work, because if you devote anything like reasonable thought to it, the logic of the situation falls apart. By sending Blake to try and save the bus-load of kids, Batman is effectively testing the soldiers on the bridge, but he's doing so like a villain with a God complex, mimicking the dilemma of the Dark Knight's twin ferry sequence by offering the soldiers the chance to spare John Blake and the kids, but see Gotham blown up by the detonator trigger that the soldiers still believe exists. That is pretty damn irresponsible. If Wayne had the time and ability to get back into Gotham, and knew so much about the bomb, and Bane's ultimate plan to kill everyone regardless of what happened, why didn't he suit up and pass the message on to the government or at least the forces guarding the exits from Gotham. Actually, come to think of it, why didn't Wayne just casually usher all of Gotham's inhabitants out of the city the same way he miraculously got back in?
