The Dark Knight Rises "Tumbler Tour" Sends Batman's Vehicles To Your Town
The tour will give Batman fans the chance to get up close and personal with the two vehicles, which will roll out on a US cost-to-cost tour, starting tomorrow.
Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros Pictures have announced a "Tumbler Tour" that will tour the US, sending a special themed Batman Tumbler and the Bat-Pod around the states to promote the forthcoming "The Dark Knight Rises". The tour will give Batman fans the chance to get up close and personal with the two vehicles, which will roll out on a cost-to-cost tour, sponsored by IMAX (the format that director Chris Nolan and Warner Bros are really pushing you to see the film in) and Mountain Dew. The Tumbler, which is Nolan's military styled version of the Batmobile, first appeared in 2005's "Batman Begins", whilst the Bat-Pod (which in the Adam West era would have been called a "Bat-bike") was introduced in "The Dark Knight". For the final chapter "The Dark Knight Rises", Nolan is introduced a flying vehicle known as "The Bat" but looking at the press release that particular mode of transportation won't be on tour. 
Here's the full list of US cities and towns where the "Tumbler Tour" will be passing through. The first date is actually as early as tomorrow (Saturday) at Bentonville, Arkansas.
