The Dark Knight Rises: Watch Nolan's Brand New Featurette

Brand new 13 minute behind-the-scenes featurette amps up the excitement.

With the world currently going crazy for Bats ahead of the June 20th release date of Chris Nolan's trilogy-ending The Dark Knight Rises, studio Warner Bros have released a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette, taking us under the cowl of the film, exploring ideas and meeting the talent. The new clip collects brand new footage as well as stuff we have seen from the many, many trailers already, as well as interviews with chief cast members, including Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman and some juicier behind-the-scenes material. Let's be honest though, there isn't a lot needs to be said about the video to sell it to you, just feast your eyes below... http://youtu.be/9UuUxqfAOUM This close to release, it is great to be afforded an insight into the key backstage elements like set construction and the assemblage of certain action sequences, and particularly the opportunity to glimpse a bit more of Chris Nolan's cinematic process. And the chance to see the creation of key sequences like the €œWall Street€ fight scene with its thousands of extras and specific logistical demands,as well as the conception of Gotham€™s sprawling sewer system are equally as exciting. With less than two weeks before the first members of the public will be allowed to see The Dark Knight Rises, the early buzz is already huge, and word is that the trilogy-ender is everything we could have hoped for. At this stage, I'm not sure how I could be more excited... The Dark Knight Rises is released on 20th July.
