The Hateful Eight New Trailer: 5 Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

So it seems Quentin Tarantino loves The Thing!

Despite the fact that for a while it wasn't even going to happen, Quentin Tarantino's next movie, the spaghetti western The Hateful Eight, is coming ever close to release, And now we have a fully-fledged trailer with actual footage from the actual movie and everything (due to arrive in cinemas in the US come December). It seems pretty safe to say that - based on what it contained in said trailer - the movie is going to rule. Following on from his brilliant, Oscar-winning "southern western" Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight looks to be a film with all the makings of a great, claustrophobic stage-play; the plot hones in on eight mysterious strangers, all of them dangerous and morality-lacking in their own sick ways, as they're holed up in a haberdashery during a blizzard in late 19th-century Wyoming. You can bet your ass that things are going to get seriously bloody. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69UwVX6Riv8 As with all Tarantino movies, though, The Hateful Eight is sure to be constructed from the DNA of a dozen more films; easter eggs, references, in-jokes and allusions to the history of cinema - both classic and trashy - are sure to cram every inch of Tarantino's 70mm frame. Even the trailer for the movie is packed with such things, many of which you might have missed on your first, second or eighteenth watch...
