After a couple of trailers pretty much came out of nowhere to remind people that a prequel/sequel to Snow White And The Huntsman was still finally happening, the internet reaction turned out to be... passing acknowledgement that The Huntsman: Winter's War is still actually happening. To be fair, the original's worldwide gross meant it made double its budget back, so some people out there must have a hankering for some stylish chop-socky fairytale hoo-ha. Now comes a new international poster to gaze at, featuring new big-bad Freya (Emily Blunt) - basically Elsa from Frozen if she went off the reservation after the death of her child. Also pictured, Chris Hemsworth in Scottish mode, Charlize Theron as the resurrected Ravenna, and Jessica Chastain as new character Sara - essentially a hard-up warrior woman. Take a look below. The film on the whole doesn't look too bad, as long as you were into the first one. The trailers did capture the same nuts-o styling of Rupert Sanders' original pretty damn well, with Theron once again doing some trippy sh*t with that mirror of hers. They also made good use of Halsey's song 'Castle', a pretty great fit for a fantasy film which features, well, castles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JokXjT0hyA&feature=youtu.be How do you feel about what's been so far? Are you intrigued or do you think it's yet another unnecessary sequel from a Hollywood that doesn't know when to quit? Let us know in the comments below!
The Huntsman: Winter's War is released on 4th April.
