2. No Shared DNA

Even though a sequel or prequel needs to forge its own path, it still needs to share DNA, otherwise it€™s not part of the same genus. Gone is the dim, dingy, claustrophobic set; full of snaking, winding and cluttered corridors. Gone is the ramshackle feel to the base. Instead we get wide open spaces, bright lighting, and a cosy environment. Everything looks safe. And safe equals trust.
