THERE WILL BE OSCARS

It's being compared to Citizen Kane and the new poser for There Will Be Blood certainly has hints of Orson Welles as Kane...

Those who have seen Paul Thomas Anderson's latest film There Will Be Blood are comparing it favourably to Citizen Kane, a movie regularly and widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time. That's high praise indeed. Possibly the highest any film can ever receive. The story is described as one about family, greed, religion, and oil in the 18th century, with a return to our screens of Daniel Day-Lewis, in what is only his third film in 10 years. A new poster for the movie is below and it certainly shows Lewis going for his best Orson Welles impression. Not quite as exciting as the first poster that was released on the movie, but at least it's an attempt to get some asses in seats for this when it opens in a limited U.S. run at the end of the year (February in the U.K.)...
