9. Why Does Valkyrie Join Forces With Thor?
When Valkyrie and Thor first meet in Ragnarok's debut trailer, the pair don't appear to be getting along. She snares the thunder god with that aforementioned electrical net and sells him into gladiatorial slavery, an act he's unlikely to thank her for.
Tessa Thompson's Asgardian warrior seems to be in league with The Grandmaster, or at least happy to do business with him, but subsequent trailer footage confirms she's part of the team Thor assembles to take on Hela later in the film.
So, how does Valkyrie go from Thor's captor on a far-off alien world to battling alongside him when the Norse apocalypse comes to Asgard?
Perhaps Valkyrie is in a similar predicament to Thor and is serving The Grandmaster against her will. Could the pair team up and hatch an escape plan before returning to their home realm to face off against Hela?
